I’m sure this was an isolated thing.. Bought this for Pops Day, it came on time, nicely packaged w/ all the papers, stickers, double boxed, but missing the warranty card. The watch looked great, no visual issues, worked as it should after doing the Seiko shake a few times, which leads me to why I returned the watch, so after a few days of testing it, making sure pops getting a proper working watch. To do this, every few hours or so I’d give the watch a lil shake, obviously I’m not going to wear it, as it’s the proper way of energizing the movement, it was passing all the tests, the day changes, date changes, were all good, till I noticed something funkys on top of the date window, but below the glass. I’m guessing it must have made its way from beneath the dial and crept thru the date window from all the shaking I did, testing it. It’s unknown object, that closely resembles like a piece of skin I guess? I know, weird right? Not something I wanted to see but guess it’s a good thing I caught it before pops does.. Just my luck, this was the last Japan made model they had. I didn’t want the Malaysian one, so had no choice but to search for another model. Luckily I still had time but it was real close. Surely wouldn’t have been able to make it if Amazon didn’t have shipping times as they do. Anyway, return process was super easy, they even refunded me based on me just dropping the watch off to the return center. You’d think they’d at least wanna verify they’re getting the correct watch back before issuing the funds but according to them, they “trust me.” THX AMAZON!! ?
