I got this watch as a gift for my boyfriend, since he mentioned always wanting a skeleton watch. I chose this based off of a few things:a) fairly consistent reviewsb) sporty lookc) no crazy colors or wild designsd) reasonable priceWhen I purchased it, I wasn't 100% confident in my decision. However, when I received it, I was pleasantly surprised. It is a nice size for a man--not too small and not too big. The small gold bit in the face adds interest and sophistication without being hideously gaudy like some watches. The strap is sturdy and made of genuine leather, no complaints there. It can be sporty and casual but it can also be worn with nicer clothing (button ups, nice sweaters, slacks, etc). I feel it can be worn with many styles as well--it can be edgy, or it can be worn with preppy button ups and khakis, which was an unexpected bonus.It comes in a very nice box that includes a satin cloth for cleaning.Most importantly however, the boyfriend likes it. I know because he keeps texting me pictures of it on his wrist randomly, and wears it frequently without being prompted (and he has a Tag Heuer as well, just to give you a reference about his tastes).As for time keeping: this is a skeleton watch, so it will never be as accurate as a quartz or battery-powered movement. However, the boy hasn't reported any issues. Keep in mind that if you take it off, it won't keep time properly because it self-winds by your movements. That said, I'm satisfied with the purchase and haven't had any issues reported to me. I would recommend it for anyone looking have a classy, versatile, interesting, but not-gaudy conversation piece. I also like looking at it, as a woman, if that's any help. It really is a beautiful and tasteful watch.Awesome watch, looks great. Read the reviews before purchase and saw that it was a mixed bag but took a chance anyways. Many had issues with the watch stopping before it was completely unwound, I did not however. This watch actually has dual barrels ( Which isn't in the description but I was hoping it had. This would probably be a good selling point for the watch as well) that mixed with the auto-mechanical system gets me about two weeks without a manual wind. The rose gold looks awesome and the watch pulled a good amount of compliments. The leather band is strong and well-made. There is no second hand on the watch which you can see in the pictures. I think that addition would have made this watch much more attractive.What isn't great is the watch is pretty big as far as height off wrist. Looking at the watch closely it is a shame because there is a lot of room from the glass to the watchface. The bulkiness could have been decreased quite a bit by bringing that glass and the body down over the face. Lastly the "jewel capped crown" is very much a novelty. The gem looks as plastic as it is and I think the crown would have looked better left all metal.Overall I would buy again. The quality of the watch I got vs the price is a great deal!I have a nice sized collection of watches, and I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a brand I was unsure about. I did a lot of searching for a skeleton watch and before I was to purchase one of a higher quality I wanted to test the style before I spent even more money. So I purchased this and I love it. I get so many compliments on this watch, even from legitimate jewelers. For 200 dollars, this watch really looks extremely sharp, and is a true eye catcher. For the gentlemen who said it wouldn't run continuously-this is a watch that is to be wound. It has the back plate that gyrates when you wear it, but if you let it sit, it will stop working unless you wind it. This is just the nature of this sort of watch, and many others, hence why they make watch boxes that have winding mechanisms in them. My stem came off in the summer so I am just getting around to shipping it to them because it is still under warranty. I called and they said they would fix it no problem. I am more than impressed and, the other three watches in my rotation cost multiples of what this Stuhrling does, yet none can come close to the attention and fascination this one draws.Used to trust the brand. I liked the box it came in as well. This was purchased as a birthday gift for a friend, and he loved it. He called today to tell me that he really liked the fact that the watch is not really heavy on his wrist, and he didn't have to constantly adjust the band like he normally would. I chose the black leather band just for that reason. I certainly recommend this watch for purchase. You won't be disappointed.This posting might be slightly premature but I will update if something changes. I had been eyeing watches for a good long while and finally my birthday came around and I got into a little extra cash. I know there are mixed reviews on this time-piece but I am glad I took the leap. This watch is absolutely stunning. The band is high quality real leather. The crystal and bezel are beautifully crafted and without imperfection. The "beating-heart" movement in this watch is mesmerizing, both my wife and I both catch each other just staring at it and admiring it. The watch I received does vary slightly from the one pictured, however. The portion of the skeleton just behind the "beating-heart" with the Flor De Lis symbols on it is non-existent on my watch. I'm completely okay with that though as it makes the innner-workings of the watch that much more visible. I've had the watch for nearly a month now and it has kept pretty much perfect time; very impressive for an automatic. The two-year warranty, low price (especially on Cyber Monday), and made-in-USA with Swiss technology and I couldn't be happier. This is my first watch from Stuhrling but it will certainly not be my last.One of my favs! Look perfect in my collection!I’m very pleased with this purchase. I’ve had the watch for a few days now and so far it keeps good time and has not run out of battery while off my wrist at nighttime. Good price for a skeleton watch. One thing I was a bit confused about. The picture of the product on Amazon has a black analogue display, but it actually has a grey analogue display. Was a bit surprised when I opened the package. However this is mentioned in the product description on Amazon. I do feel the picture advertised should be exactly what the watch looks like. Overall a great watch for a reasonable price.Inexpensive watch that looks really nice.Looks fabulous the only problem is that it loss's 10 minutes a day I looked at sending it back to get repaired and it would cost ME 40 dollarsmy husband loves the watch and is disappointedBought as a gift for my Dad's birthday. He loved it until it started to lose time and then on following manufactures instructions to keep 'watch wound' , the watch no longer keeps any time. Have tried to return to Amazon, however can only return within 1 month of buying. Have had watch 8 months. Just not good enough. What use is a good looking watch that does not tell you the time. Annoyed.Great watch. Good timekeeper. Like other reviewers unable to set the dual time clock as can't pull out winder to second position.
