Apple's "prestige" bands (this, the Stainless Steel link, and the Modern Buckle leather) were and are very well made straps, and a good complement for business dress or evening wear. (It's very sad that Apple has discontinued all their natural leather straps.) This very precisely made Milanese mesh strap is slightly wider than the Modern Buckle leather strap, and about the same width as my space black Stainless Steel Link bracelet. I took a gamble that this Slate color would come close to the Graphite SS finish of my S8 Wifi+Cellular watch, and as you can see from the pics, it's very close. Of course the PVD polished finish matches the stainless steel case perfectly.I wear 41mm Watches to fit under dress shirt cuffs easily, not to mention sweaters. I have enough chonky dive watches in my collection. This 21mm wide strap is fine on my wrist — often a 22m lug-width watch strap will narrow to 20mm, only some narrow to 18mm. So this is consistent with the conventional watch straps I wear, particularly NATO/G10 style nylon straps for my 39mm-42mm case size watches.Doesn't grab my arm hairs very much out of the box and new. I will update this review if I find other concerns.
