The newest generation of these ultra tough and high performance watches introduces a slimmer and more lightweight 42mm case, while retaining the classic and distinctive design of a field watch. Each model in this series is protected by our unique shatterproof Armourglass crystal that has a hardness rating of 6,000 Vickers — whereas most watch crystals are only rated to 700 Vickers. For the utmost in reliability and timekeeping accuracy, each watch is powered by a maintenance-free Ronda 715 quartz movement with a date display at 3:00 and a low-battery indicator. The functional yet easy to read dial features Arabic numerals for both the 12 and 24 hour markings. Your watch becomes a lot more useful as you can easily tell the time in not only the day, but also at night with the help of 15 self-powered tritium tubes that are set into each of the 3 hands and at every hour on the dial. The case and all components of the watch are constructed out of hypoallergenic and durable 316L stainless steel. The screw-down crown and caseback ensure an adventure-ready water resistance of 100 meters. In lieu of the standard spring bar pins, heavy-duty screw bars secure the band firmly in place for strenuous activities. Shatterproof Armourglass The watch is protected by shatterproof Armourglass crystal that can withstand up to 6,000 Vickers, whereas most watch crystals can only withstand about 700.
