I bought this based on other's reviews. I really needed a new one as my old one was just not working properly.(Two years ago I accidentally put it in the Washer, so its surprising it worked at all)The price is cheaper than you would buy at the store, and with the money saved I was able to also buy an armband.I just received it yesterday and got it set up with my iTunes account.It is working very well for me. I only have music and podcasts on it, plus it tracks my steps when out walking.I am happy with this purchase.I am updating my review. I like it when it is working, but right now it is not working. This is the second time it has just died.The first time I was ready to send it back, it was completely dead. Not because the battery was dead-I originallythought that but nothing happened when I tried to recharge it. My computer did not even acknowledge my device.Then--it started working. I was relieved and kept it.Now, it has been weeks--not sure how long--and once again it is not working. I am hoping fervently that it starts towork again on its own.I am past the return date and I will not be happy if I have to spend more money on another oneOkay - so this review is tough for me. I do not believe this product is worth this much money NEW, let alone refurbished. It's tiny, there aren't a lot of brains included, and Apple has a GIANT head to be thinking they should charge anything CLOSE to that price. However, TWEENAGERS.having said that, this overpriced refurb was indeed cheaper than one new and so I felt I could justify...sort of kind of not really. Also, everything works on it and I set up a library. Keeps the charge, nothing funky going on (believe me...I've heard the stories). I feel like it could've been packaged a little more nicely, but hey - the plain box served a function that worked. For you refurb doubters out there, it's okay to go ahead and trust this refurb company.This would get a higher rating and maybe it because it is a refurbished device. I find the buttons are to easily touched while in my pocket. I'll be sitting at my desk at work listening to a podcast and the audio will just stop. Pulled out the device and it just off. Pressing the circle button does nothing. I have to hold down the power button but it does't "turn on" from being off it takes about 1-2 seconds and the screen will come to life again. It doesn't act like it was powered down more like a sleep mode. Other than that works like a apple product that I am forced to buy because I have to much invested with itunes. Not really complaining I keep buying from them I think it somewhat ease of use with the itunes syncing and store front.Bought this for my granddaughter who's in the Navy. Easy to useI had an older nano that finally died so I decided to purchase a new one as I enjoy listening to commercial free music in my car. This worked just fine and is easy to load music on to. It is very basic, but the touch screen is nice. I would buy this as a gift for someone who enjoys music and may like to work out or travels a lot.Received my iPod as scheduled and at present I am very pleased with everything. I am not a computer geek, so it took me a little bit to learn how to download songs where I wanted them, but I think I have figured it out. One question I have is: do I have access to apple for support if I need it during the warranty period?I would have given this Ipod more than 3 starts, except for it did not work for the purpose that I needed it. It was ordered specifically for use on my 2013 Victory motorcycle. But it would not work on the motorcycle sound system even after I purchased an adapter (since the outlet did not match the Apple outlet on the motorcycle). It did arrive timely and was in very good shape (no scratches or anything). But I had to return it. The return was very easy and my money was refunded promptly.My ideal iPod would be a classic with at least 32GB and blue tooth capability, and maybe an integrated audible app. I'm a fan of a dedicated audio device. I don't need it to play games or movies, my phone does that. And streaming music can rack up data charges. Since Apple discontinued the classics, this will have to do. it works fine.as many of the reviews (which I should have paid attention too) it doesn't work properly. Will not sync to iTunes which is massive disappointment. why why why do they advertise this as tested when it clearly isn't. Should not be allowed to get away with it
